I am running for 4th Ward Commissioner of Springfield, PA. I hope to bring a new face to the leadership and to strengthen community connections. I am passionate about enhancing our green spaces and will support Springfield’s efforts thus far.

I have been married to my supportive husband, Andy Loughrey, for over 13 years. We have three wonderful children, Hank, Moira and Oliver. We have enjoyed living in Springfield for over a decade.

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000 with a BSN and from Thomas Jefferson University in 2004 with an MSN. I have worked as a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner in many diverse settings. Currently, I am a nurse practitioner with a family practice in Philadelphia and continually work to help my patients prevent illness through self-care. Additionally, I teach Pilates to help strengthen and rehab athletes.

Locally, I support the families and youth in Springfield by helping to organize school events and by coaching through the Springfield Athletic Association (SAA). I have played Ultimate Frisbee for 20 years on many teams that have traveled and competed nationally, at times. Currently, I coach youth Ultimate Frisbee, play on a traveling master’s women’s team and captain a league team in Philadelphia. Finally, I love music and am a member of the Media Chamber Chorale.
